Yes. The
Queensland Centre for Mental Health Learning is Queensland Health service
funded to provide training to Queensland Health staff whose primary role is
working with people experiencing mental health problems (or students on
placement within a Queensland Health Mental Health Service at the time of the
training). This is extended to other Queensland Health staff to support the
promotion of recovery focused mental health services and more recently includes
Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) staff to provide skills training in risk
assessment and management.
To access training without charge learners must
hold a valid @health.qld.gov.au or @ambulance.qld.gov.au email address in their
name.
All
others, such as other government departments, private organisations and
non-government organisations are required to pay a fee to access Learning
Centre training.
Refer to the Learning Centre Schedule of fees for more information.
