Authorised Doctors and Authorised Mental Health Practitioners are appointed under the conditions as directed by the Mental Health Act 2016 (the act) legislation unit. Please refer to the 'Administration of the Mental Health Act 2016' webpage for details of required training, relevant application for completion and process for submission.
Your local Mental Health Act delegate may also provide you with relevant advice.
